About Us
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a manual therapy that uses a holistic model to diagnose and treat the musculoskeletal system. The musculoskeletal system includes muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, fascia and other connective tissue.
Osteopaths have many tools and techniques which they will use to reduce pain and improve the overall health and wellbeing of the patient. These include soft tissue work, articulation and manipulation of joints, stretching and muscle energy techniques.
Our practitioners at Essence are all experienced in using Cranial Osteopathy, Craniosacral Therapy and Biodynamics
Osteopathy is suitable for all ages.
